William (Bill) Mohr Sr., passed away July 28 with his loving family by his side. Born Nov. 16, 1950, he was the son of John and Margaret (Kessler) Mohr. He was a graduate of Easthampton High School and the University of Massachusetts. William retired from the Easthampton Public Schools as a long time loved Physical Education teacher and coach to many. He was married 32 years to his beloved wife Sylvia Rose (Young) Mohr, who predeceased him.
William leaves his mother Margaret Mohr, daughter Jennifer Grochowski and her husband Scott and son William and his wife Erica. He was predeceased by his son, James. His six grandchildren meant the world to him as did he to them: Miranda, Michael, Justin, Justine, Marcus and Nathan as well as 2 great grandchildren. William leaves his 2 brothers Robert and his wife Sandy and Richard, 2 Sisters Judy and her husband Bob Biardi, Carol and her husband Paul Labonte as well as his former wife Diane (Truehart) and her husband Andrew Moszynski along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends from all sides of his and The Young Family.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday Aug 5th at 11am in the Brookside Cemetery
A Celebration of Life will be Sept 18th at pavilion 4 Nonotuck park 12p-6p and that family requests guests bring photos or memories to add to a memory album if they can
