William DeLosh Obituary

William F. DeLosh formerly of Easthampton passed away on Feb 1 , 2021 in Northampton

 William was born on July 15, 1935 in Springfield Ma the son of the late Francis and Loretta (Gauthier) DeLosh.  William attended and graduated from the Springfield public school system before he entered the United States Marine Corp. Shortly after leaving the Marine Corp, he attended George Washington University.  William was predeceased by his wife Karen (Moreau) DeLosh of 24 years after a long battle with cancer in 2001 and his sister Fances (DeLosh)Messler in 2005.

William joined the United States Marine Corp after high school where he was awarded the National Defense Service medal for his service in Korea followed by an Honorable Discharge. William spent most of his career as a sales representative and briefly owned and operated a small cleaning company that served for some businesses in Easthampton. William was well known by friends and neighbors as an avid runner, participating in several local races including the Holyoke St. Patricks road race and the Boston Marathon. William was a resident of Easthampton for over 25 years and was involved in youth sports where he earned the nickname “Coach”. In his later years, William spent his time enjoying golf and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

William is survived by his 2 daughters  Julia L Lustenberger and Nancy A Fuller his step daughter Elizabeth R Luczynski and his two son-in-laws Steven Lustenberger and William Fuller.

 William is also survived by his grandchildren Brandon Delosh, Eleanor Fuller, Cameron Lustenberger and Layne Fuller

A Memorial  Service is scheduled for this Saturday Feb. 6th from 4pm-6pm at the Mitchell Funeral Home 15 Park Street Easthampton Ma   www.mitchellcofuneralhome.com
