Todd Alan Kingsbury, 65, of Belchertown, MA, peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of April 14, 2022, with his brother by his side.

Todd was born on February 4, 1957 to Anne and John Kingsbury in Northampton, MA. After Todd graduated from Northampton High School in 1974, he attended Springfield Technical Community College, where he majored in electrical engineering. After graduating from STCC in 1976, Todd worked briefly at New England Telephone as an installation technician.

Todd was predeceased by his father, John, and sister, Kim. He leaves behind his mother, Anne of Northampton; his, as he would say, “favorite sister,” Gail (Jim) Nartowicz of Easthampton; his brother, Jon of South Lake Tahoe, CA; and his loving daughter, Katelyn Rose with his two granddaughters, Emma and Abigail, of Southampton. He is also survived by a nephew, Brian Nartowicz of Daytona Beach, FL; a niece, Kristi (Chad) Willard and their children, Garrett and Ava, of Northampton; and three aunts, Christine Pike, Barbara Weake, and Louise Micka; along with many loving cousins and friends.

He enjoyed watching the Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins. He had quite the knack for reciting player and team stats for all the teams. His greatest joy was eating out at many different restaurants, going to the movies with his brother and taking many rides, especially to the Quabbin Reservoir, where he had many fond memories with his Dad.

Services will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home of Easthampton, MA, on Monday, April 25, at 10:00am, followed by burial services at Spring Grove Cemetery in Florence, MA.

The family wishes to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated, hard-working staffs of the Center for Human Development (CHD) in Holyoke, along with their group home in Belchertown; the Mercy Life PACE program with the Hillside Residence in West Springfield; and the “M-5 Unit” of the Holyoke Medical Center in Holyoke. Over many years, their sincere, compassionate and loving support helped to improve tremendously the quality of Todd’s life. Lastly, we thank the ICU, Palliative Care, and Hospice Care units of the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield who provided Todd with the much needed comfort during his final days.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Todd’s name to the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill: NAMI, PO Box 49104, Baltimore, MD 21297.
