Thomas Sorrell Obituary
Thomas R. Sorell ,74, of West Springfield, died Tuesday August 1, at the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke. He was born September 7, 1942 in Springfield. He was raised in Springfield and attended schools there. He entered the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War where he was a truck driver and a diesel mechanic. Thomas was a loyal Marine devoted to the Corp, God and Country. Tom lived for many years in West Springfield where he was a member of the American Legion Post 207. He enjoyed scuba diving and was a scuba instructor.
Military Service and burial will be Tuesday August 8, 2017 at 11 am at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
