Thomas J. Brady, age 68, of Agawam, MA passed away on Easter Sunday surrounded by loved ones. Tom grew up in Woburn, MA and was a 1971 graduate of Woburn High School where his friends knew him as Foxy who loved to ride his Triumph. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed good food, long rides, music, playing guitar, attending concerts, along with trips to NOLA for awesome jazz music. He was an avid fan of the Dolphins, Bruins, and Red Sox. Fishing was one of Tom’s favorite pass times and spent many summer vacations at Lake Champlain. In the winter season Tom could be found skiing almost evry mountain in New England. His favorite place was spending time at the beach, especially in Gloucester.
He made a career working in the grocery industry which began at Star Market in Woburn and led to other managerial positions throughout MA and CT as a member of United Food &Commercial Workers Local 371. He worked for A&P, Waldbaum’s Food Mart and eventually retired from Stop & Shop.
Tom cherished his family & friends and was a devoted husband of 30 years to Jody (Wright) of Agawam, father of Matthew Brady, grandfather of Benjamin Brady of California, son of the late Warren (Vinnie) Brady and Phyllis (Hession) Brady of Woburn, loving brother of Stephen V. Brady and wife Mary of Revere, Philip T. Brady and wife Karen of Eastham, brother-in-law to Wayne Wright of West Springfield, Richard Wright and wife Galinda of W.Sacramento, California, sister-in-law Joan Lalicata and husband Guy, and loving nieces and nephews Stephen, Cathy, Mary, Philip, Lenore, Melissa, Kenny and Brandon. Tom also leaves many devoted friends and cherished his therapy black labs Caitlin and the late Molly.
