Theresa Jane (Teri) Leonard Koloski of Easthampton passed away on Sept 3rd at home.
Teri was born on July 14, 1960, in Athol, the daughter of Clyde Leonard and Bessie (Burnett) Freeman. She was raised in Orange and Northampton, moving to Easthampton, while in the fourth grade, and graduated from EHS Class of 1979. Teri married Steven J Koloski in 1984. She attended and receiver her Teachers Certificate from WNEC now Western New England University. Teri worked as a Teacher for the Easthampton School System, retiring in 2015.
Teri spread sunshine wherever she went; while teaching, spending time with her family or cheering on her boys in all they did. She was thrilled to share her love of teaching with her son Kyle, who now teaches at Westfield High School. She was especially involved in the local yoyo community. Teri was extremely proud to be called a YoYo Mom.
Teri is survived by her beloved husband Steven, two adored sons, Eric John Koloski and Kyle Austin Koloski and his wife April. One brother Robert and many much-loved nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother Richard and two sisters, Evelyn and Dawn.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 7th at 4:30 PM at the Mitchel and Son Funeral Home. Calling hours will be from 3 PM until the time of the service.
