Susan Marie (Martel) Krawczyk Gonzalez

Susan Marie (Martel) (Krawczyk) Gonzalez of Easthampton passed away on February 9th, 2021 at home surrounded by her family and friends after an extended illness. Susan was born and raised in Easthampton. Her life was built on happiness and caring for others. Susan not only loved her family but extended her light to everyone she came in contact with. NO MATTER WHAT, Susan kept her heart open and her love alive for her family, friends, and so many more!
Susan is survived by her four children. Paul Krawczyk, Stacey Krawczyk (Lebeau) and Keith Krawczyk of Las Vegas, Sarena Gonzales of Easthampton, her sister Charlene Martel of Westfield, former Husband Ziggy Krawczyk of Easthampton, and her lifelong best friend Judy Twiss (LaValley), she also leaves behind two amazing grandkids Zander and Yazmyn who are going to miss going to grandma’s bridge and fishing every summer. That was their happy place!
A few more shared thoughts from her family are... Stacey loved when she taught her to play basketball in the kitchen with bread baskets, (the day before tryouts!) And then went on to play college basketball...
Keith loved that his mom was the best soccer mom ever! Paul was glad he was able to spend a week with his mother before she passed. Ziggy fondly remembers that she helped start the treasure hunt in Easthampton and brought so much joy to everyone and he and Sue always had the best time. Charlene loved the time she got to spend with Sue at church and praising God. But the best came from Sarena who said “she was a wonderful soul who passed through life putting a smile on everyone’s face, especially mine”.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Pioneer Valley Assembly of God, 63 Old Chester Road, Huntington, MA.  Rev. Charles Vanasse, Pastor will be officiating.
