Sherry Anne Kievitt (Swearingen)

Sherry A. Kievitt, 58, of Woronoco died unexpectedly on December 11th, 2020 from heart complications. Her loss was completely unexpected, and her family is shocked and deeply saddened.

Sherry was predeceased by her father William Swearingen of Bakersfield, CA and her mother Carrol A. Fee of Westfield.  She is survived by her daughter Emma Kievitt and her stepfather Richard Fee, both of Woronoco.  Sherry also leaves behind her siblings Mary Birdsall of Chester, David Swearingen of Colchester, CT, John LaBonte of Westfield, Kenneth LaBonte of Huntington, Katherine VanNostrand and Sarah Fee both of Westfield, and Richard T. Fee of East Granby, CT.  Sherry also leaves behind her Aunts, Judith McNalley and Betty Cardaropoli, many nephews & nieces, cousins, and friends.

Anyone who knew Sherry, knew that she was an incredibly loving and devoted mother.   She had a great passion for the performing arts which she passed onto her daughter, Emma.  They would spend countless hours talking about Emma's experiences at school and their shared musical interests.  The bond Sherry and her daughter had was one of a kind.  Above all, Sherry valued empathy, honesty, kindness, and generosity.  She gave to others when she had little for herself.  She was a limitless source of light and positivity.  Sherry’s family and friends will miss her more than words can say.

In lieu of flowers, all memorial contributions will be used for future care expenses for Emma.  Donations can be made at or via mail to
