Ronald Rodriguez of Northampton passed away on July 28 2021 at home
Ron was born on August 4 1974 in Northampton. The son of Joan (Fogg) Rodriguez and Ronald Costello. Ron was raised in Northampton attended local schools and graduated from Smith Vocational High School Class of 1992 .
Ron served in the US Air Force in support of Desert Shield. Ron learned many trades in his life. While in the Air Force, he was a heavy equipment operator. Once home he was a bicycle mechanic, auto mechanic, and a beer maker.
While serving in the Air Force, he was stationed in Alaska. At first he was not happy about being so far from home but discovered his great joy for the outdoors. He loved hiking the mountains, biking the trails, and camping in the woods. These are the things he loved to do and was passing on to his boys Sebastian and Sammie. They camped in the backyard with a fire, he would put them in the tandem and biked with them, and they’d walk the trail to Parsons Brook and go swimming in the pond.
Ron is survived by his mother Joan and his stepfather Gerard Cormier, two sons Sebastian and Samuel, A brother Adam Cormier and his wife Becca and his sister Lori Picard and her husband Barry An aunt Helen Torrey and an uncle Jack Fogg, as well as, many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held in Agawam Veterans Cemetery on August 18 at 3pm. Calling hours will be August 11th at the Mitchell Funeral Home from 5 to 7pm
