Obituary

Ronald Morin., 72, of Easthampton, passed away after a very sudden diagnosis of multiple myeloma on Feb 10, at CDH surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was born in Springfield Ma., on May 13, 1950, the son of George and Frances (Mango) Morin. Ronald graduated from Technical High School in 1971. Ronald then went to study art and English at University of Massachusetts. Ron worked in Environmental Services at CDH and then later at Loomis House.

Ron had several talents. He was an artist, chess player, playwright, guitarist, and comedy writer. He enjoyed painting, playing music with his friends, watching old movies and shows, and crushing his family at Jeopardy. He enjoyed attending Art Walk Easthampton with his wife. His paintings were featured in Easthampton galleries in 2018 and 2020. Ron’s sense of humor and smart remarks will be missed by everyone.

Ronald’s loving wife AJ passed away on Jan 14. They were married in 1988. Ronald is survived by his daughter, Samantha Morin of Easthampton. His brother, John, predeceased him.

Ron’s life and artistry will be honored at a memorial service which will be held locally. Date and location will be announced in the coming weeks.

A celebration of life for Ron and AJ will be held in the Spring.
