Roland F. Joly

Roland F. Joly 70,  of Easthampton died Monday  February 15, at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield. He was born in Northampton October 20, 1950 the son of the late Paul and  Irene Manseau Joly. He attended local schools and graduated from Smith Vocational School in Northampton. He was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Parish of Easthampton and now a communicant of Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Easthampton. Roland was in sheet metal application for heating and air condition  for local shops . He retired from National Felt Co. of Easthampton in 1972. 

Roland is survived by one sister Therese and  husband Alfred Desmarais of Easthampton, brother -in-law Robert Desrosiers and nieces and nephews. Besides his  parents he was predeceased by two sisters Cecile Stedman and her husband Robert, Rachel Desrosiers and brother Norman. 

A Memorial Mass will be at Our Lady of the Valley Church   on February 26, at 10am. Burial will be in St. Brigid’s Cemetery in the Spring. In lieu of flowers gifts in Roland’s memory may be given to charity  of ones choice. Mitchell Funeral Home of Easthampton handling the arrangements.www.mitchellcofuneralhome.com.
