Roger Thibodeau

Roger B.Thibodeau of Southampton passed away on Nov. 1 2021 at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by family.

Roger was born on July 11,1946 in Northampton,MA, the son of Allan A.Thibodeau and Julie (Olczak) Thibodeau. Roger was raised in Easthampton and attended local schools. 

Roger served in the Us Marine Corp during the Vietnam War from August 1963 to August 1967. Roger was a Police Officer and a detective for the Town of Easthampton, he was also a Captain at the Hampshire County House of Corrections in Northampton.

Roger will be dearly missed by his wife of 50+ yrs. Kathleen Thibodeau, his children Connie Tanguay and her fiancée John Hums and David Thibodeau and his partner Traci Hershman, his Grandchildren Nicholas Tanguay, Joseph Tanguay and his fiancée Nina Patnode, Adam Tanguay, Seth Thibodeau and his partner Meaghan Carmichael, Kyle Thibodeau and his fiancée Alysha Wozniak and his 4 Great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his father, mother and his brother Allan R.Thibodeau.

Calling hours will be Tuesday 11/9 from 4 to 7pm at the Mitchell Funeral Home

A private Memorial Service with Military Honors will be on Wednesday
