Robert F. McKenna

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful Husband, Father, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa on April 29, 2024.  He was so loved by his family.

Bob was born 90 years ago and lived in Holyoke, Massachusetts before relocating to Westfield, Massachusetts in 1959.  He graduated from Sacred Heart High School, then served 3 years in the United States Marine Corps.  Bob worked at Verizon Communications for 37 years, retiring in 1991.

He leaves his beloved wife, Mary (Sisty Monaghan), after 69 years of marriage.  Bob also leaves his son, Kevin and his partner Ron, his daughter Sheila and her husband Chris and his Grandchildren Jonah and McKenzie.  He also leaves his granddaughter Shannon and her husband Lui, along with his two Great Grandchildren McKenna & Benny.  Bob was predeceased by his daughters Katherine and Mary-Beth.  

So loved - so missed
