Robert C. Johnson

Robert C. Johnson, 77, of Hatfield passed away on May 17, 2021, at CDH.

Robert was born on Oct 16, 1943, in Holyoke the son of Robert W. and Doris (Myrick) Johnson. He was a long-time resident of Easthampton, MA. He graduated from Easthampton High School in 1962.

Robert leaves his wife of fifty-six years, Emilie Johnson (Gelinas), son Robert, brother Bruce Johnson and sister-in-law Victoria Johnson. He also leaves two grandchildren. Catherine Troie and her husband David Troie, Sr. and their children Analiese and David Jr. Kimberly Johnson and her children Kendra Lempart, and Caden Matte. Robert leaves behind many other beloved family members and friends. 

Robert was the president of Johnson Metal Products of Southampton. He was so proud of his work and loved to do the drafting for each project. Robert was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, boating, and family. He would never miss a fishing derby. He was a member of the Easthampton Rod and Gun Club. He also loved spending time with his family on the boat where we always had a great time.

The Calling hours will be Monday May 24th, at the Mitchell Funeral Home from 4 to 6pm.
