Robert Hamelin

Robert Hamelin 89, of Easthampton passed away at his home on October 11,  2021  with his family at his side. He was born in Easthampton on May 5, 1932 the son of Francis and Ann Musial Hamelin. He attended local schools and was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army.

Bob was employed  by National Felt Co. for 42 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 224 in Easthampton.

Robert is survived by his wife Margaret  “Maggie” (Gett) Hamelin, one daughter Sandra Roy and husband Dan, son-in-law Mike Potter, 4 grandchildren, 6 greatgrandchildren. Bob was predeceased by his daughter Patti Potter,  one greatgranddaughter and his siblings brothers Francis, Richard, Donald, Kenneth and sister Carol Parizo.

At Robert’s request there will be no service and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Donations in Robert’s memory may be given to the Hospice of the  Fisher Home, 1165 North Pleasant Street, Amherst,MA01002. Mitchell Funeral Home of Easthampton in charge of arrangements.
