Robert William Crowe II 59, passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2023.
Born in Holyoke Mass on May 10, 1963 and adopted by the late Peter and Jane (Tierney) Crowe on August 29, 1975.
Graduated from Smith Vocational High School in 1981 where he studied Printing. He held positions with many employers, making long lasting friendships along the way. Bob was a Jack of All trades and a Master at many. He could diagnose issues with your heating system and walk you through a fix over the phone. He was meticulous and not afraid to tell someone why things needed to be done in a certain way and how much a mistake could cost them if they didn’t get it right. At the same time, he was happy to teach you while making witty comments to make you laugh.
Bob enjoyed being in the woods during hunting season, on the river hanging out on the boat in the summer and hanging out in the garage tinkering with something or other. He found joy in his cars, motorcycles, classic country music and hanging out with family and friends, usually with a Miller Lite in hand.
Bob leaves his loving wife Sheryl A (Damon)Crowe, and his beloved children: Robert W. Crowe III and Amanda Jane Crowe, his grandchildren Haleigh Crowe and Weston Colon, his sister Sarah (Crowe)Bleach, brother-in-law Jeffrey Bleach, sisters Donna Smyth and brother-in-law Fred Ross, Doreen Roberts and brother-in-law Gene and Diane Mitchell, brother Pedro Cruz, step mother Andriena Crowe, step sisters Kirstin LaPlante and Cindy Streker, step brother Edward Streker, Father-in Law Donald Damon, Mother-in-law Joanie Kushi and step father Karle, brother-in law Jeffrey Damon and wife Jessica, brother-in-law Timothy Damon, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home in Easthampton on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11am followed by a burial at St. Brigid’s cemetery in Easthampton. To celebrate his love for sweet rides regardless of how many wheels they have, let’s send him off with a procession with some rumble. Masks are required to protect Sheryl who is a Stem Cell recipient and still immunocompromised.
