Richard D. Rivard,67, of Easthampton died July 18, 2017 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton. He was born in Northampton October 29, 1950 the son of Alexander and Lena (Larochelle) Rivard. He attended Northampton Schools and graduated from Smith Vocational School with the vocation of carpentry. He married Darlene Yell on Jan.15 1971 and making their home in Easthampton for 46 Years of Marriage. He was employed by Smith College in Northampton as a head custodian. As a Hobby he Bowled on a League at Canel Lanes from 1970's to the 90's.
Besides his wife he is survived by one son Richard D. Rivard, Jr., one daughter Dennise Hazel, one sister Diane Vancour who now lives in California, four grandchildren Krissy, Robbie, Timmy Kowal and Alex Hazel. He was predeceased by his sister Linda Mazur,and his brother Dennis Rivard
