Randy (Randolph) Coates, 64, of Springfield, MA, passed away at Baystate Medical Center on August 8,, 2024. Randy was born on August 17 1959 in Lynn MA, he was the son of Gene Streetman and Sandra Coates He was raised in Lynn, Ma and California

Randy worked for MTA in Los Angeles California and PVTA here in Springfield Massachusetts He is married to Isaura (Barron) Coates

Randy Coates was unexpectedly diagnosed with stage four cancer of the lung and brain. Randy passed away at Baystate with family surrounding him on August 8,2024 at 4:19am. Randy was a great family man, who worked hard for his family. Randy has a large family consisting of six children and 19 grandchildren. Randy also leaves behind his sisters and brothers and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, as well as many friends across the United States. Randy enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. In Randy's spare time he enjoyed talking with friends on his CB radios playing his Video games, and watching videos of mother earth, nature, paranormal activity, UFO’s, and holistic practices. Randy leaves his wife Isaura Coates, his sons Brandy Coates and his wife Shelida, Lando Coates, Anakin Coates and his wife Marie, Baron Coates and his wife Alycia. He also leaves behind his daughters Maxine Coates and Joanna Coates and his 19 grandchildren. Randy also leaves behind his sisters Diane, Christy, Ellie, and Yolanda and his brothers Gene and Allen Streetman. Randy was predeceased by his; mother Sandra Coates and Nephews Yonidas Pichardo and David Pichardo.

Callings hours will be Saturday at the Mitchell Funeral Home 15 Park St Easthampton MA from 11am to 1pm
