Patricia (Pranes) Brooks

Patricia A. (Pranes) Brooks of Chicopee passed away on March 2, 2021.

     Patricia was born October 6, 1962 in Springfield, MA.  She attended Belchertown Jr./Sr. High School and went to work at Mass Mutual immediately after graduating.  After working there for many years she relocated to South Carolina for a number of years returning to this area several years ago.  She was an animal lover and big supporter of the ASPCA.

     She was predeceased by her parents, James Pranes of Maine and Juanita (Nartoff) Amedeo of Connecticut.  She is survived by her children Justin Brooks and his wife Hope of  Enfield, CT and daughter Emily Brooks of Chicopee.  She is also survived by her grandson Parker David Brooks.   She leaves her siblings Leo Buckley and his wife Doreen of Spring Hill, Florida, Donna Safford of Chesterfield, Cheryl Pranes of Chicopee, Robert Pranes of Chicopee and Kathleen Mitchell and her husband Morgan of Southampton as well as several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her former husband David Brooks of Easthampton.  Burial will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to the ASPCA
