Nicholas P.L. Broadbridge passed away peacefully July 16, 2022, at Cooley Dickenson Hospital. He was born Jan 9, 1963, in Ottawa Ontario Canada to the late Colin and Shelia Broadbridge. Nick was a long-time resident of Longmeadow until moving to Easthampton in 1978. After graduating from Easthampton High School in 1981, Nick went on to work at the Advertising Corporation of America in Holyoke for several years, until the company dissolved. Nick then joined the staff at the Bluebonnet Diner in Northampton. He became good friends with co-workers and customers alike. He truly enjoyed working at the diner for almost 30 years. In March of 2019 he was forced to leave the diner due to a decline in his health. Nick’s favorite pastime was listening to various artists such as Elton John, Paul McCartney and Eric Clapton to name a few. He enjoyed sporting events including the New England Patriots and his favorite hockey team, the Montreal Canadiens. Nick was also a true Star Trek fan to the core. He leaves behind his sister Deborah J. Broadbridge of Chicopee. In addition, Nick leaves behind his stepmother Marian Broadbridge of Santa Fe, NM, his stepsister Johnna Marlow also of Santa Fe and Alzada Tipton of Walla Walla, WA. Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 pm on August 16, 2022, followed by a Service from 6 to 7pm at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Easthampton.
