Mary Jane Sniadach, age 80, passed away on January 23, 2026. She was born on July 14, 1945, in Europe, the daughter of Marcin and Stella (Koiczella) Malawski.
Mary Jane came to the USA in 1949 and attended schools in Trenton. She graduated from Trenton High School. She worked for former Massachusetts State Hospital in Northampton. She then worked in the Financial Assistance Department at the UMass in Amherst for many years retiring In 2015, she was a graduated of Greenfield Community College. Mary Jane married her high school sweetheart Michael Sniadach and were married for 62 years. They made their home in Easthampton since 1984 until they moved to Hadley in 1993.
Mary Jane was a communicant of Our Lady of The Valley Parish and the former Sacred Heart Parish all of Easthampton. Her Polish’s heritage was dear to her, including her love of Polish Cooking. She also loved the beauty of nature, The flowers and the wildlife
She is survived by her husband Michael, a daughter Mary Jane King and her husband Alfred,
4 Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons Michael and Paul and a granddaughter. 2 brother Kasimer and Teddy, 2 sisters Christine and Irene
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday Jan 29 at 10 am at Our Lady of The Valley Parrish Easthampton followed by burial at St Stanislaus Cemetery all of Easthampton.
Calling hours will be Wednesday Jan 28 at the Mitchell Funeral Home from 4 to 6pm
