She was born in Easthampton MA on January 27,1928, the daughter of “Tommy” Elizabeth Avery Betsold and Deane A. Avery. She was married to Edward J. Her door was always open and those who entered never left hungry. There were always cookies in the cabinet! She enjoyed farming, gardening, quilting, word searches, puzzles and most of all her family.  She was a Mother and friend to all, Gram, Great Gram and Aunty Peggy. She leaves her children, Gail Modugno and husband Steve; her daughter-in-law Debby Raymond; Beth Tiffany and partner Dick Fournier; and Mark Raymond and wife Kate.  She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Jessica Schmid, her husband Drew Kolb and children Grace and Avery; Dan Raymond, his wife Jen and their children Ben, Andy and Chelsea; Amy Raymond; Levi Tiffany and his wife Kate; Becky Bennet, her husband Seth and children Faith, Noah, Jillian, and Dawson; Jenny Tryon, her husband Don and children Matt, Emily and McKenzie; and Scott Raymond, his wife Carla and children Paige and Jolene. She leaves many nieces and nephews. Her husband Edward and son Paul predeceased her.
