Lynn E. Clark, 67, of Southampton died Monday Nov. 27 in her home with her 3 children and dog by her side. She was born June 13, 1950 in Springfield, the daughter of Lloyd and Norma McLean Clark.. She was a graduate of Classical High School and Westfield State College. She first operated a Home Day Care Center then became a beloved teacher in the Springfield School System for many years. She concurrently worked at Costco in West Springfield which she treated like a second career and loved serving the community.
Lynn was an active grandmother of 6, mother of 3, sister, aunt, and best friend to many. Her life was characterized by always giving more to others than to herself. Although she had a lengthy battle with metastatic breast cancer, she never lost her sense of humor or positive outlook on life. She constantly shared her message to "be positive and be brave".
She was the most amazing human being and touched countless lives. She had a deep appreciation of classical music and played the piano since childhood. She especially enjoyed vacations of fishing, kayaking and camping with her family and loved international travel with her daughter.
Lynn is survived by two sons Christopher Murdock of Easthampton. Daniel Murdock of Southampton and one daughter Lisa Murdock of California, two sisters Marcia Dinoia of Hamden, Barbara Giroux of Glastonbury, CT, six grandchildren Ainsley, Yelayna, Daelin, Makara, Elizabeth, Addison and many nieces, nephews and brother, son and daughter in laws.
Funeral services will be Saturday Dec 2 at 12 noon in the Mitchell Funeral 15 Park Street Easthampton Ma Visiting hours will be from 10 am till the time of the service. Burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family www.mitchellcofuneralhome.com
