Louise Joan (Boulais) Bednarz of Easthampton passed away on Dec 16th, at Cooley Dickinson Hospital after a sudden illness surrounded by her loving family.  Born in Holyoke, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Roy) Boulais.   Louise was a graduate of South Hadley High School Class of 1963.  After graduating, Louise worked for many years as an administrator in multiple medical fields for several different doctors.  It was at Holyoke Hospital where she met her husband of 51 years, Ronald Bednarz.  After being married in October of 1968, Ron and Louise built their house and started their family in Easthampton where they were also communicants of the former Sacred Heart Church and current Our Lady of the Valley Parrish.

She also enjoyed spending time at the beach, doing crossword puzzles, working outside in the yard and was often seen at the Holyoke Mall, walking with her sister and friends.

Louise is survived by her husband Ronald, son Gary also of Easthampton, and daughter Christine of Springfield.  She leaves a brother Charles Boulais of Chesapeake, VA and a sister Marie Finn of West Springfield.
