Linda J (Wall) Macleod

Linda Joyce MacLeod, 71, of Natick, formerly of Easthampton, died Monday March 2, in the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland, with her family at her side.  She was born in Worcester, May 27, 1943 the daughter of Martin and Josephine (Aquino) Wall.  Linda was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School in 1961 and the University of Massachusetts in 1964 with a degree in English.  She came to Easthampton in 1968 and was an English teacher in the Easthampton Public Schools.  Linda was the widow of Donald E. MacLeod who died in 2007.  Linda is survived by one son Brett MacLeod and wife Susan of Natick and one daughter Kristen Sawdey and husband David of Wilmette, IL., one sister Elaine Marchessault and husband John of Framingham, four grandchildren Samantha and Jake MacLeod and Kate and Will Sawdey.  Private services will be held at the Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Easthampton.  Burial will be at the Westhampton Center Cemetery  Donation can be made in Linda"s memory to . Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence   10 Green Way Wayland, MA 01778      or       http://www.parmenter.org/index.asp
