The Chinese Green Dragon is the guardian spirit of the East. It represents birth and re-birth, growth, strength, awakenings... and hope. It is benevolent, offering compassion and open hearts and hands to others. It was the symbol of her clinic - and of her patients who strive to grow stronger, who wish to be of service to others, and who hope, always hope.
In addition to her dedication to her career, Karen had a passion for gardening and music. She found joy in tending to her garden, cultivating beautiful blooms and nurturing life. Music was another avenue through which she expressed her creativity and found solace.
Karen is survived by her loving daughters, Kirsten Bergstrom and Meghann (Josh) Parkinson, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Zoe and Jack Parkinson. She is also survived by her brothers, David and Tom Adams, and her extended family, including Mike Conrad, Josh (Heather) Adams, Carmen (Leo) Paparelli, and Rigel Spencer Massaro.
