Joseph Giannini

Joseph Giannini, age 83, passed away at Linda Manor on February 20,2025. He was born in Holyoke on August 15, 1941, the son of Pasquale and Mary (Sandrilla) Giannini.

Joseph attended public schools in Holyoke, Ma. He graduated from Holyoke High School in 1961 and graduated from Holyoke Business School in 1963. Joseph enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1963 and received both the Vietnam Service Medal and Combat Infantry Badge.

He was employed by Holyoke Gas and Electric Co. as senior foreman. He met and married the former Virginia Trudeau. They made their home in Easthampton.

He dearly loved his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Virginia, his son Sean Andrews and wife Amanda of Easthampton and daughter Kimberly 

Lacosse and husband Nathan of Chicopee. Also, grandchildren Jordan, Johnathon, Haley, Jenna, Jaelyn and Nathan, Jr. as well as great grandson Brady. 

He was predeceased by his parents and three sisters, Rose Marie Goddu (Paul), Angeline Lauzier (Donald) and Patricia Jackowski (James). In addition to several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private memorial celebration of life.
