Jason Lemar Sharp Sr.
November 20, 1978 – July 13, 2025
Jason Lemar Sharp Sr., 46, of Springfield, Massachusetts and Enfield, Connecticut, passed away on July 13, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by love and family in his final days.
Born on November 20, 1978, Jason was the beloved son of Nona Sharp and Fleming Wilson. He was a proud graduate of Lincoln Tech, where he earned his certification in HVAC, a trade that became the foundation for his professional life. Driven and resourceful, Jason went on to become the proud owner and operator of Bare Hand Solutions, a business he built from the ground up with passion, dedication.
Among his many accomplishments, Jason considered fatherhood his greatest. He was a devoted husband to Shannon Scott, a proud father to Jason Lemar Sharp Jr., and a loving father figure to his bonus children: Mark, Collin, Tayzhon, Davion, and Anjaleah. He also leaves behind his cherished brothers, Preston Sharp and Damon (Brandi) Sharp, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who will miss him dearly.
Jason was baptized and a faithful member of Solid Rock Community Baptist Church, where his strength in faith uplifted many. His warmth, humor, and generosity earned him the title of “favorite uncle” in the eyes of many. Whether cheering at a game, fishing on a quiet afternoon, or mentoring others in his trade, Jason brought heart and authenticity into every space he entered.
The family extends deep gratitude to the oncology team at Hartford Healthcare for their compassion and care during Jason’s illness.
Jason's legacy of love, faith, and resilience will live on in every life he touched.
Service details will be shared by the family at a later date.
