James D Bushey Jr (1971 – 2023)

We are sad to announce the death of James D Bushey Jr 51, of Easthampton, who passed away in the hospital on January 19th, 2023, after a brief illness. James fondly known as Jimbo was surrounded by his loving family, and friends.

Jim was born in Eustis, FL to Pam and Jim Bushey on July 25th,1971.  He went to Easthampton High.  Jim filled his spare time fishing with his dad and son and enjoyed family nights playing games.  His devotion to his family was absolute, and nothing made him prouder then watching his son succeed. He cared for anyone who came into his life, and always put others before himself. He was a devoted Red Sox and Patriots fan.

Jim is survived by his son Jordan D Bushey, his sister Nicole M DeFranco and her husband T.J., his parents Pam and Jim Bushey, and his nephews Tyler Prosciak and Logan DeFranco.

Calling hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Monday January 30th,2023 at Mitchell’s Funeral Home.

As per Jim’s request no funeral or memorial service will be held.

The family of Jim Bushey Jr wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Dr’s, nurses, and staff of the CCU at Cooley Dickenson Hospital of Northampton, MA.  As well as to everyone who said many prayers for all of us.
