Irwin Brakey

Northampton, MA - Irwin F. Brakey 86, of Northampton passed away Monday June 19, 2023 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. He was born in Northampton on August 6, 1936 the son of the late Irwin T. and Dorothy (Nuttelman) Brakey.

Irwin worked as an Equipment Operator and farmer on Orchard Hill Family Farm. He was predeceased by his wife Lois Hebert Brakey.

Irwin was also predeceased by his brother Donald and daughter-in-law Dianne. Irwin is survived by his children Joe Brakey, Leonard Brakey, David and Tammy Brakey,

Lynn Brakey and his very dear friend Rose McCoy.

His grandchildren Jeremy, Michele, Sarah, Joseph, Elizabeth, Alex, David, Trevor and Logan, along with his greatgrandchildren Carter, Sophia, Julien, Arlo and Everly. He also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins. Burial will be at the conveniency of the family.
