Irene M. (Michalak) Gauger

Irene M (Michalak) Gauger of Easthampton Ma. passed away peacefully on September 17,2021 at CDH after complications of Covid 19.

Irene was born on March 31,1931 in Springfield Ma. The daughter of Peter and Josephine (Jakubowska) Michalak.

Irene was raised in Springfield Ma. and graduated form Cathedral High School class of 1949.

Irene was the devoted wife of 65 years to Carl Gauger after their marrage in 1955.

Irene worked as a secretary for National Felt of Easthampton until her retirement in 1993.

Irene is survived by her husband Carl , daughter Linda Kipetz and her husband Alan of Ludlow Ma., Son Carl Gauger and his wife Sharon of Rockledge Fl. , Daughter Donna Natale of Hatfield Ma.,

Grandchildren, Brian, Eric, Kyle, Alexa, Heather, Brandon, Haley, Carly, Keith, Tanner and great grandaughter Kali.

She is also survived by her sister Helen Simpson of New Hampshire and many neices and nephews.

Irene was predeceised by her brother Chester Michalak and sister Jane Mocadlo

A private memorial service will be held at the Mitchell Funeral with burial in Brookside Cemetery
