Helena (Dabek) Marcinowska of Easthampton passed away on Jan 4 in Linda Manor, Northampton. She was born on April 6, 1932, in Stare Miasto, Poland, the daughter of Wladyslaw and Aleksandra (Omylanowski) Dabek. She was the widow of Antoni Marcinowski, also of Stare Miasto, Poland. She lived in Poland most of her life, but visited her family in the U.S. frequently.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and especially spending time with her family.
She leaves her loving children, Jerzy Marcinowski, Lidia (Marcinowska) Zoltowski, Wladyslaw (Walter) Marcinowski and Ryszard (Jack) Marcinowski, all of whom live in Easthampton, Ma. They are all grateful for her being a wonderful mother, a great example to everyone and for her sharing her strong faith. In addition, she leaves her brother, Wladyslaw Dabek, Stanislawa Wozny and Janina Furman. All three of whom live in Poland. She was predeceased by her brother Ferdynard Dabek
She also leaves behind 8 cherished grandchildren and
her 10 adored great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews
A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday Jan 9 at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Valley Church Adams St. Easthampton, Ma. Visitation will be held before Sunday Jan. 8 at the Mitchell Funeral Home from 3 to 5pm
