Heather Anne Lehmann, 47, passed away on June 4th after a long illness.
She was born in Westwood, New Jersey, to Peter Lehmann, who preceded her in death, and Donna Frennier. She is survived by her sons, Terrell Hamelin and his Fiancé Brittany ; Jacob Chaffee of Easthampton; Nathaniel Lehmann of Longmeadow; and his parents, Melissa Strahan and Derick Strahan. She also leaves behind a grandchild Sabrina.
Heather attended Notre Dame School through grade 5 and continued her education in Easthampton public schools. Heather was a talented hair stylist and a proud graduate of Barbizon modeling school. She brought creativity and warmth to everyone she met.
After a long illness, Heather spent her final days in the ICU, fighting bravely for three days on breathing tubes as she battled blood clots in her brain. Her passing has left a deep void on the lives of her loved ones.
Heather leaves behind three children and a grandchild, all of whom are struggling to cope with this tremendous loss. The impact has been especially hard on her younger children, who are just 11 and 6 years old. As we come together to honor Heather’s memory, we are hoping to raise funds to help cover the costs of her cremation and burial. Any support will help ease the financial burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time, allowing us to focus on healing and remembering Heather for the loving, creative person she was.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Easthampton on Monday June 16 at 11am
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Heather’s name to the DART program at the Easthampton Police Department or to the family at https://gofund.me/90240611
