Harold Boyer Jr, of Holyoke formerly of Easthampton, passed away on Nov 12, 2023, at Holyoke Medical Center. Harold was born on May 7, 1969, in Northampton, MA, the son of Harold and Erline (Courchesne) Towsley. Growing up in Easthampton, MA, he was a graduate of Easthampton High School. Harold work in landscaping for many years.
Harold loved fishing, the outdoors and more! He was a huge sports fan, especially Football! He loved his Patriots! He was a great person, always knew how to make someone laugh and take them out of the miserable mood they were in, He loved his family and friends very much. Harold would give them the shirt off his back if he could. He was also a very smart guy. Harold’s antics will be missed by all of us who endured them so many times, also a fun fact that many may not know is that Drake the singer/rapper was an artist that Harold attended more concerts in his lifetime than any other group or artist. Harold also enjoyed listening to country music with his mother. Harold struggled with many things in his life however one of Harold 's biggest accomplishments besides his children and grandchildren was his work he did with the two different dog groups, Harold trained and worked with rescue dogs through the Hampden County Sheriff's Department this was an opportunity they gave him an immense amount of pride within himself.
He is survived by his mother Erline, his fiancée of 23 years Megan Billiel and their daughter Sierra Boyer, 2 sons Ryan Boyer and Dustin Parzyck and their mother Naomi Fuller. Harold also leaves his one grandchild Brooklynn Boyer. A brother Robert Mendez and his partner Debbie of Ohio, his sisters Cynthia Perrier and her partner Willie of Southwick, Diane Batts and her husband Phillip of Tenn. and Carlene Karaman and her partner Billie of Easthampton
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Harold also is survived by several half-siblings. He was predeceased by his father Harold Boyer Sr and a sister Deborah Mendez Wilson. His stepfather Sherman Towsley
Services for Harold will be Saturday Dec 2 from 12 to 2pm at the Mitchell Funeral Home 15 Park St Easthampton
