Geraldine Boudreau

 Geraldine Boudreau of Easthampton passed away on Dec 9th at her home

 Geraldine was born on Dec 11 1933 in East Douglas, Ma the daughter of the late Aldei and Mathilda (Martineau) Boudreau.   She attended local schools until 6th grade at which point, she got a job at The Goodness store in East Douglas with all her earnings helping to support her family of 11 siblings.  Geraldine was born with a cleft palate and hairlip so she had many hospitalizations as a child and she developed a love of games, especially card games and bingo. She also loved to sing, whether harmonizing while doing dishes or on stage with The Singing Swinging Seniors in Chicopee.  Known as Geri in many circles she also volunteered for the Chicopee Council on Aging for which she drove a van bringing seniors to appointments.

Geraldine is survived by   7 children   Denise Jones of Chicopee, Audrey Rivera of Chicopee, Lisa Deboise of Colorado Springs, Co, Russell Lincourt of Eureka, Ca, Cathy Jasienowski of Easthampton, Ma, Steven Lincourt of Indian Orchard, and Dawn Lincourt of Siler City, NC.                          .  She was predeceased by her siblings Lavalle Boudreau, Raymond Boudreau, Aldea White, Rosair Boudreau, Marcel Boudreau, Cecile Northouse, her twin Genevieve Curran, and Teresa Carter.  She is survived by her brother Anthony Boudreau of Mendon, Ma, and her sister Claire Gervais of Oxford, Ma

Geraldine leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 1.5 great-great grandchildren. Due to Covid we are postponing services until April at which time we will have services at Mitchel Funeral Home on Park St in Easthampton followed by a celebration of Geraldine’s life at the Jasienowski house.

In lieu of flowers donations in Geraldine’s memory can be made to Operation Smile an organization working in 36 countries to treat children with cleft palate.
