Freddie Demarey

Freddie Demarey  92, of Easthampton peacefully passed away on October 21, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born Northampton on January 30, 1929 the son of Frederick and Catherine Mulvihill Demarey. He attended schools in Northampton. Freddie was employed for many years as a police officer in Easthampton and the Veterans Administration in Leeds. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Easthampton.  He is predeceassed by the love of his life, his wife Josephine. 

Freddie is survived by five sons David Demarey of  Westhampton, Edward Demarey of Vernon CT,  Michael Demarey of Southampton, Daniel Demarey of Easthampton and John Demarey of Rowe MA, two daughters, Maureen Fontaine of Baton Rouge, LA and Ann Guin of Westfield and , 12 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren.

Services will be held Tuesday October 26, 2021 at 11 am at Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Easthampton.

    Visiting hours will be from 9am until the time of the service at 11am
