Francis Lakota of Easthampton died March 8, at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke on November 13, 1964, to his loving parents Francis A. Lakota, Sr. and Denise (Delude) Lakota, whom both passed away i 2007. He was a great big brother to Todd R. Lakota who passed in 2009. Francis attended South Hadley High School then went on to Greenfield College and graduated in 2011. Francis served in the US Army for a short period of time in
He was a roofer and loved to be up on top of a roof. He loved deep sea diving, the ocean, and to be outside, he loved fishing and biking.
Francis' wife Lydia (Laveck) Lakota passed on Oct. 4, 2022, they were together for almost 33 years.
Francis leaves three children, Mariah Lakota, Timothy Lakota and Brianna Lakota whom he loved dearly and was so proud of, He also leaves 6 Grandkids whom he loved so much.
A calling hour with Military Honors will be Saturday March 22, 2025 from 2 -3 pm at the Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Easthampton.
