Everett Suffriti, of Agawam passed away June 14 at home.   A full obituary will follow. Mitchell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.Everett Suffriti passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Monday, June 14,2021. He was born in West Springfield to the late Vincenzo and Emma (Raggazini) Suffriti on September 13,1928.Everett was predeceased by his former wife Barbara, siblings Mario, Florence Scibelli, Gloria Deforge, and twin brother Edward. He leaves sons David (Eugena) of AZ, Paul(Georgie) of NM, Thomas(Jeanne)of Brewster, MA,      Gary(Ramona) of Agawam, MA, daughter Ann-Marie Perry(Dennis)  of Feeding Hills, MA. Also survived by his sister Dorothy Wodell of Feeding Hills, MA Everett was raised in West Springfield and a graduate of Springfield Trade School. He worked at C.C. Lewis for 13 years before becoming a business owner of the Feeding Hills Public Market "The Blue Store". It was a family business for many years with his children, grandchildren, and many other family members working together while making beautiful memories. Once a quiet man long ago turned into the social butterfly. After retiring, he went on to work at Stop & Shop continuing his knack for making people feel special. Whether it was something he said or calling you dollface, you couldn't help but engage in his humor.  A few of his pastimes were playing cards with family and friends, going to the casino, and meeting the boys at Dunkin Donuts every morning for their hour of storytelling along with plenty of laughter. Everett was a proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren. He enjoyed watching them grow and being their fun-loving "Bumpa". We will remember him as happy-go-lucky at heart with a content spirit who would say his most cherished times are the ones he spent with family.  The family give special thanks to Doretta, Vena, Olive, Mike, and Marlene for the love they gave in taking care of our Dad. Burial will be private. Celebration of life will be held at a later time. For those wishing, donations may be made in his memory to St Jude’s Hospital, Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts.
