Elizabeth Ann Fischer, 89, passed away March 22, 2025 at the Linda Manor Nursing Home in Leeds MA. She was born June 30, 1935 in Northampton. Elizabeth, a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, canning and serving her community. She worked at the Stitch & Knit for many years before beginning her career in office administration, working for several companies before the 20+ years at Cooley Dickinson Hospital as the office manager of the billing Dept. She was active in the community volunteering in many ways including serving as a 4-H leader for many years as well as serving on the Ladies Aid at Trinity Lutheran Church in Easthampton and volunteering at several local nursing homes.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband of 56 years John. They had three children, Raymond (deceased), Jim Fischer of Southampton(Suanne) and Tammy Liquori of Port Charlotte Fl (Steve), grandchildren Rachel Labrie (Jim) and Ben Fischer (Megan) ,Alex Liquori (Lauren), Michael Liquori (Jessica) and a great grand daughter Amelia.
A memorial service will be held Friday April 11th starting at 10:30 am at the Walter Mitchell Funeral Home in Easthampton, MA , funeral at Brookside cemetery and a celebration of life to follow.
