Edward Tejirian, 86, of New York and West Chesterfield, died July 21, 2022 in New York City. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of Joseph and Zohra (Maybalian) Tejirian, he was a lifelong resident of New York. He was a graduate of Princeton University and held a PhD degree from Columbia University. A practicing clinical psychologist, he taught for many years at Queens College, City University of New York. He is survived by his wife Eleanor and his sons Chris, of Sunderland (currently serving in Japan), and Jeremy, of Dublin, California, daughters in law Junko Kato and Jennifer Saito, grandchildren Seiko Helen Tejirian, Yuji Noah Tejirian, Sophia Campbell Saito, and Simone Campbell Saito, and nephews Edward Dartley and Jon Dartley. A funeral was held July 30 at St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Easthampton, with burial at Ireland Street Cemetery, West Chesterfield.
