Edward Challet Sr

Edward Challet, Sr. 70 of Westhampton died August 23, 2024, in Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Edward was born in Northampton, MA on March 27, 1954, the son of Walter and Mary (Dodge) Challet.

Edward attended the local school at Smith Vocational and agricultural high school, Class of 1972. Edward served    in the US Navy as a Firearms Assistance, Rank E2. His career led him to a couple

different positions. He worked for the family business Challet Sand and Gravel and then went on to starting his own business called Ed's lawncare and landscaping. He continued running his own business

for closed to 20 years. Edward loved NASCAR, his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. Ed was an avid biker and loved the Harley's he owned. Ed also loved fishing and camping.

He is survived by his mother Mary. Edward was a devoted father to his 4 sons Mark, Keith, Joe, Edward, Jr. and his 3 daughters Jennifer, Heather, Mary. he has 15 grandchildren, and many

great grandchildren. He was the only child to Walter and Mary. 

He was predeceased by his father Walter Challet. Services will be held at a later date.
