Edward W. Archambault, Age 93 passed peacefully June 22 2022

Born in Springfield, Ma. April 7, 1929 of the late Annette (Soucy) Archambault and Heliodore Archambault.

 Active in the Cub and Boy Scouts as a youth,  in 1946 Ed became an Eagle Scout. He Graduated from Tech High School in 1947

Ed was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He then served in the 131st Fighter Squadron Air National Guard at Branes Airport for many years.

 His passion for hunting and fishing lead him on great adventures and drove his lifelong occupation of Taxidermy which he worked at for over 45 years. He also at one time worked for the Hartford New Haven railroad which created an interest in Model Railroading which he enjoyed for decades.

 He resided for years in Broad Brook, Ct where he took great pride in his home. Later he moved back to Springfield to his childhood home, then on to Easthampton where he spent the last 20 years.

Ed was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (Marge Reichle) Archambault, Sister Beatrix Frankowski, Brother Eugene Archambault, many relatives and friends.

He is survived by son Ryan Archambault and wife Luann, his only grandchild who he loved dearly Emma Archambault of Southampton, Ma.   Former spouse Gloria Archambault, daughter Liz Bailey, son Ken Archambault of Birmingham, Al.

Ed mentioned frequently his gratefulness to the VA, Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Elite Health care and all those that assisted him the last several years.  The family will be having visiting hours at the Mitchell Funeral Home, which will be announced at a later date.  www.mitchellcofuneralhoe.com
