Cynthia Ann Patnode 59, of Hadley formerly of Easthampton died on March 14, 2022 at the Fisher Hospice Home of Amherst. She was born in Northampton on November 9, 1962 the daughter of Eileen (Menard) Patnode and the late Donald A. Patnode.
Cynthia attended Easthampton High School and Holyoke Community College. She was a graduate of Hallmark School of Photography in Turners Falls. She worked as Mixologist for many years and part time photographer for a time.
Cynthia is survived by her mother Eileen Patnode , two brothers Chris M. Patnode and his wife Pamela and Steven D. Patnode all of Easthampton. She was predeceased by her son Steven Michael Gryszan in 2005. She also leaves several nieces and nephews, cousins Dorothy (Jarrett) Cichonski and husband Michael of Westfield and Jean (Jarrett) Reed and husband Steven of Williamstown, Vermont.
Besides being predeceased by her son Steven, she was predeceased by her grand parents Emmett and Germaine (St. Pierre) Menard and Alzeard and Julia (Chretien) Patnode.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on April 4, 2022 , at 10 am at Our Lady of The Valley Church, Adams Street, Easthampton, followed by burial in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Easthampton.
Due to Covid there will be a “Celebration of Life” to be announced at a later date.
