Carl Gauger

Carl Gauger of Easthampton, MA passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025 at Care One in Northampton. He was born in Northampton September 3, 1930 

the son of Carl and Margaret (Keohler) Gauger. He was raised in Easthampton and graduated from Easthampton High School in 1947.

Carl was the devoted husband of 65 years to Irene (Michalak) Gauger, who passed away in 2021.

Carl joined the Coast Guard in 1947 after graduating from high school and received an Honorable Discharge in 1951. He later went on to work

at Phillips Manufacturing and retired in 1993.

Carl is survived by his daughter Linda Kipetz and her husband Alan of Ludlow, MA,  son Carl Gauger and his wife Sharon of Rockledge, Fl, 

daughter Donna Natale of Hatfield, MA.

Grandchildren Brian, Eric, Kyle, Alexa, Heather, Brandon, Haley, Carly, Keith, Tanner, and great grandchildren Kali, Linux, Oziah, Donald John (DJ) and Westley.

Carl is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Don and sister Joan Gauger.

Mitchell Funeral Home will be handling a private burial at Brookside Cemetery in Easthampton.
