Bruce G. Sealander, age 69, of Easthampton passed away unexpectedly at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston on January 30, 2024. He was born in Springfield on January 8, 1955. He was the son of the late Ernest and Ethel (Tobin) Sealander.
Bruce attended public schools in Easthampton and graduated from Easthampton High School in 1973. Bruce began his career at Tobin Brothers, then Connecticut Valley Block before becoming the Terminal Manager at Lehigh Hanson (previously Essroc Italcementi) from 1985 until his retirement in 2019. After his retirement he worked part-time for Advantage Truck Group.
Bruce absolutely loved his family and spending his life with his children and especially grandchildren. He enjoyed his motorcycles, bike riding, repairing projects and family trips. He was known for his laughter, one-liners and of course his one of kind mustache. He will be forever and deeply missed.
He is survived by his daughter Nicole Sealander and her partner William Strain, his son Eric Sealander and his wife Lauren, their children Mason and Olivia. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
He is also survived by his former wife, Christine Sealander mother of Nicole and Eric and grandmother to Mason and Olivia, his brother Jeffery Sealander, his sister Patricia Boyle and her husband James, nephew Gregory Krzanowski and his wife Lauren and their son Anthony.
He was predeceased by his brother Kevin Sealander and sister-in-law Michelle Mattie.
Bruce’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Great Awakening Brewing, 77 Mill Street, Westfield, MA.
