Bruce A. Fournier

Bruce Allen Fournier, 79 of Southampton passed peacefully surrounded by his family on October 10th 2021, Born October 8,1942 in Northampton, Bruce was the only son of Leonard and Grace Fournier.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife Donna (Alden) Fournier of 54 years, his daughter Wendy Fournier of Southampton, his son Jeffrey L. and wife Michelle of Easthampton, his 3 sisters, Marcia Lutz-Cross of CT, Diane Barrett of Southampton and Joanne Fournier of Southampton, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and predeceased by his parents Leonard and Grace

Bruce attended Smith Vocational Agricultural High School and was a member of the FFA and 4-H. He also held the position of President of the Farm Bureau. 

Bruce worked, owned, and operated the family farm with his father then in 1967 carried on with his wife and children up until 2005 when he retired.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Oct 16 in the Mitchell Funeral Home at 11am.  Calling hours will be from 9am till the time of the Service.  The family will be holding a Celebration of Life in the Spring.  Memorial Donation in Bruce’s memory may be made to the Smith Vocational High School Chapter of the FFA.   www.mitchellcofuneralhome .com
