Audrey (Mowry) Dodge

Audrey M. Dodge 82, of Southampton died Sunday April 1, 2018 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Northampton. She was born in Gardner on  April 11 1935, the daughter of William and Myrtle Scofield Mowry. She resided in Leominster moving to Northampton at an early age and attended Northampton Schools and graduated from Northampton High School in 1953. Audrey graduated from the former Children’s Hospital School of Nursing in Boston. She married the late Chester H Dodge Jr. in 1956 and made their home in Southampton since 1963. She was a practicing Registered Nurse, working at the Northampton  Nursing home. She was an avid Red Sox fan, Girl Scout leader for many years and a member of  HUG-A -BEAR Group.  She was the recipient of the 1980 American Legion  Citizen of the year Award for Southampton.

Audrey is survived by  son Scott Dodge and fiancé Maribelle Keezer of Marion  CT.,  daughter Heather Gaudette and husband Robert of Texas and their children Robin and Rory,  son, Stephen Dodge and wife Cheryl of Peru and their children, Jared, Candice, and her son,great grandson Blake.  one brother Wesley Mowry of Ct and one sister Gail Ashley of New Jersey.  Burial will be in Worthington at convenience of the family . In lieu of flowers,  donations may be made to HUG-A-BEARS.
