Angelo Vacchelli of Florence Ma. He was born March 10, 1937, and passed away July 4, 2023.
Angelo was the son of the late Angelo Vacchelli, Sr and Irene Brooks Vacchelli and grew up in Florence, MA. He attended local schools including Smith Vocational High School.
Angelo retired as a foreman for the Northampton Water Department. An avid outdoorsman he loved hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years Barbara Thibault as well as a granddaughter Jennifer Kaczoiowski, and his first wife Joan Smith
He is survived by his son Anthony (Tony) Vacchelli (Debi) of Florence, MA, daughter Gina Kaczorowski (Bruce) of Felton, DE, stepson Jeffery Nehring of Florence, MA, stepdaughters Lynn Nehring (Bob) of Florence, Lorena Nehring of IL and Laura Ross of Florence, MA. He is also survived, by 3 sisters, Lorraine Herzig of Florence, MA, Dorothy Asher of and Sherry Vacchelli of Holyoke, MA. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be Wednesday July 12th at 1130am in the Mitchell Funeral Home, Easthampton. Calling hours will be from 10am till the time of the Service.
