Andrea Joan (Boulanger) Sullivan, 75, of Sunderland, formerly of Southampton, Easthampton and Leland, NC, passed away March 1, 2023.
She was born in Easthampton on January 26, 1948 to James (Clayton) and Martha (Becky) Boulanger. She was a graduate of Saint Michael's Catholic High School in Northampton, Class of 1965.
Andrea was a wonderful, independent woman who loved the ocean, gardening, bird watching and spending time with her family and friends. Andrea held various positions throughout her life in Massachusetts, Virginia and North Carolina but her favorite ‘job’ was that of being Mom and Grams. Later in life, she enjoyed her multiple positions within the Southampton Senior Center and being involved in her local community. She was a gifted artist who enjoyed the fine art of tinsel painting and loved to gather seashells from the variety of beaches she would visit and create beautiful seashell wreaths.
Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Becky, her brother, Kris Boulanger, brother-in-law, Don Sullivan and the love of her life, John Peter Sullivan.
She is survived by her children who were her greatest accomplishments, daughter, Sherri and her husband Robert, her son, John and his wife Joanna along with her cherished grandchildren, Wyatt, McKinley, Camylle, Sadie and Jack.
Andrea also leaves her siblings, Donn Boulanger (Sue), Terry Gaspari (Steve) and Barbara Boulanger (Dawn), along with several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, sister-in-law, Bert Sullivan, and countless friends who meant so much to us all.
A celebration of life will be held in the summer.
A donation in Andrea’s memory can be made to the Friends of Southampton Council on Aging.
