Albert L. Day

Albert L. Day, age 92, passed away at Baystate Medical Center on June 21.  He was born in Gill MA, on Dec 15, 1932, the son of Lawerence and Flora (Fisher) Day.

Albert attended public schools in Gill.   He graduated from High School in 1949.  Albert served in U.S. Navy after High School. He later went back to school and was employed by Stanley Home Products Inc in Easthampton as an Accountant and later retired from the Westfield Division of Stanley Products.  He married Evelyn Ciaglo Day and made their home in Easthampton for over 60 years. Evelyn passed away in 2007.

Albert was proud of his work in the Garden and all of the planting in his yard. He was also always ready for a quick game of Cribbage

He is survived by his three sons. Brian L., Kevin L. and his wife Vickie and Steven L. and his wife Jennifer, 4 grandchildren, Melinda, Anne-Marie, Amanda and Douglas,  4 great grandchildren

He was predeceased by his wife and his brother Earl

Calling hours will be Monday June 30th from 10 to 1130 am in the Mitchell Funeral Home, followed by a Prayer Service at 1130.  Burial will be in the St Stanislaus Cemetery all of Easthampton
